Posterous needs to be supported

Posterous has always been a special place for me. It feels like an exclusive and mildly more intelligent community to be a part of. The vimeo of blogging platforms. It fills a key role in the workflow I have designed for several clients who love email, but are intimidated my CMS administration panels.

For some reason posterous allows me the freewheeling, creative space to write (and get my thoughts straightened out about action needed). I want to write more. Which I intend to write more. And this is a fantastic reward in its own right. The marvelous content which comes out of, and is re-posted, on posterous is also rewarding, especially because the automatic email updates. Genius move there.

Auto-logout on the site is an issue. As is the lack of the auto-save in the “post by web” pages is a real pain. These are reasons I don’t use posterous more. Even though the posterous crew have been aq-hired by twitter, these failing should be addressed if the platform is going to survive the short term.

Can’t wait to see it happen.
